Day 1:
Welcome to Tanzania
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be met by an Ol Itiko Safaris representative and transferred to Ambassador Hotel in Arusha. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax or explore the city.

Day 2:
Lake Natron
After breakfast, drive from Arusha to Lake Natron, located at the foot of Oldoinyo Lengai, Africa’s only active volcano. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided walk to the beautiful Engero Sero Waterfalls with a local Maasai guide, where you can relax and swim in the natural pool.

Day 3:
Lake Natron & Oldoinyo Lengai
After breakfast, explore the shores of Lake Natron, one of the world’s most alkaline lakes and an important breeding ground for flamingos. Return to camp for lunch, relax during the afternoon, and enjoy an early dinner. Around 11:00 PM, begin your overnight trek to the summit of Oldoinyo Lengai with a local Maasai mountain guide.

Oldoinyo Lengai – Arusha
Reach the summit of Oldoinyo Lengai at sunrise and enjoy spectacular views of Lake Natron, the Great Rift Valley, Mount Kilimanjaro, and the Ngorongoro Highlands. After a picnic breakfast, descend the mountain, enjoy lunch, and drive back to Arusha for a well-deserved rest.
