After the trek, continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. This is the most memorable highlight of your safari. After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a briefing before beginning your mountain gorilla trekking adventure at around 8:00 am. You will hike through dense rainforest, steep slopes, and thick vegetation for 1 to 5 hours in search of a habituated gorilla family.

Once found, you will spend up to one unforgettable hour observing them at close range (7 meters), watching their behavior and interactions in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, enjoy a cultural or community visit to experience the local lifestyle and traditions.

After breakfast at the lodge, begin your long but scenic drive back to Kampala, a journey of approximately 8–9 hours. En route, enjoy lunch in Mbarara Town or at Igongo Cultural Centre, and make a stop at Mpambire Drum Makers or the Uganda Equator Crossing at Kayabwe for photos and souvenirs.

Continue to Kampala, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred directly to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
