After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in the spectacular Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations.
Located in southwestern Kenya, the Masai Mara covers approximately 1,510 square kilometers of rolling grasslands, acacia-dotted plains, and scenic landscapes. The reserve is renowned for its exceptional year-round wildlife viewing and is home to an incredible variety of animals, including lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffes, and numerous antelope species.
The Masai Mara is also famous for the Great Migration, during which vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move across the ecosystem in search of fresh grazing. This remarkable natural phenomenon attracts a variety of predators, creating some of the most dramatic wildlife encounters in Africa.
Enjoy a day exploring the reserve’s diverse habitats and abundant wildlife before returning to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart for the Isebania Kenya Tanzania border, where you will complete immigration and visa formalities before continuing your journey into Tanzania. From there, proceed to Serengeti National Park with game viewing in the route as you make your way to the northern Serengeti near the Mara River.
This region is one of the best locations to witness the Great Migration, particularly during the river-crossing season when thousands of wildebeest and zebras attempt to cross the crocodile-filled Mara River in search of fresh grazing lands.
The vast plains of the Serengeti form the stage for one of the world’s most remarkable wildlife events the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest, accompanied by hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles. Covering a journey of more than 2,500 kilometers each year, the herds are constantly pursued by predators including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas. Depending on the season and the movement of the herds, your guide will take you to the best areas of the northern Serengeti for wildlife viewing and migration sightings.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive before heading to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the Northern Serengeti, offering another chance to witness the Great Migration and the region’s abundant wildlife. Later, drive to the Central Serengeti with game viewing in the route.
Serengeti National Park covers approximately 14,763 square kilometers and is home to an estimated three million large animals. Famous for the Great Migration, the park derives its name from the Maasai word Siringet, meaning “endless plains.” Upon arrival in Central Serengeti, continue with a game drive before heading to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the Central Serengeti, one of the best wildlife-viewing areas in Africa. This region is renowned for its resident lion prides and offers excellent opportunities to spot a wide variety of wildlife throughout the year. The Central Serengeti is also famous for its healthy leopard population, often seen resting in the trees along the Seronera River.
