Arusha – Lake Eyasi

Enjoy a complimentary hotel pick-up early in the morning before departing for Lake Eyasi. Upon arrival, check in at Tindiga Tented Camp and enjoy lunch while taking in the beautiful surroundings. After some time to relax, spend the afternoon exploring the Lake Eyasi area with the guidance of local community members. During the dry season, visitors can walk across parts of the dried lakebed and explore the surrounding bush, gaining insight into the region’s unique landscape and way of life. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, depart for an immersive cultural experience with the Hadza community, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in East Africa. Join the Hadza on a traditional hunting excursion and learn about their unique way of life, including hunting techniques, honey gathering, and survival skills that have been passed down through generations. The Hadza live in simple, temporary shelters and speak a distinctive click language, similar to that of some indigenous communities in southern Africa. Following this fascinating cultural encounter, begin your journey back to Arusha with a lunch stop in the route. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
