Day 1:
Arusha (1,400m) – Miriakamba Hut (2,500m)
After breakfast in Arusha, drive to Momella Gate to complete park formalities before beginning your trek. Accompanied by an armed ranger, hike through the scenic forests and open plains of Arusha National Park, where you may spot giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and other wildlife. Continue to Miriakamba Hut (2,500m), where a hot meal and a well-deserved rest await.

Day 2:
Miriakamba Hut (2,500m) – Saddle Hut (3,500m)
After breakfast, continue your ascent through montane forest and alpine vegetation toward Saddle Hut (3,500m). Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of Mount Meru’s crater and the dramatic Ash Cone. After lunch, an optional hike to Little Meru (3,820m) helps with acclimatization before returning to camp for an early dinner and rest ahead of your midnight summit climb.

Saddle Hut (3,500m) – Mount Meru Summit (4,566m) – Arusha (1,400m)
Your summit day begins just after midnight with a light snack before setting off for Socialist Peak (4,566m). Reach the summit at sunrise and enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Meru Crater, and the Ash Cone. After celebrating your achievement, descend via Miriakamba Hut to Momella Gate, where your driver will transfer you back to Arusha.
