Pick up from your hotel in Arusha this morning and depart for the Usambara Mountains (approx. 6–7 hours). Enjoy a scenic drive across the Maasai Steppe before stopping for lunch in Lushoto.

After checking in at your lodge, head to Magamba Nature Reserve for an afternoon guided forest walk. Search for endemic species, including the West Usambara Two-horned Chameleon, Spiny Pygmy Chameleon, tree frogs, and forest geckos while exploring the mist-covered montane forest.

Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

In the evening, join a guided night walk to spot nocturnal chameleons, pygmy species, frogs, and other fascinating forest wildlife.
